Free Survivor Concert at "The Mills Summer Jam on the Street" concert series

I took somewhat fewer photos at this concert than the last one; I was a bit more caught up in actually watching the show this time than in recording it. Darn it, though--even after I figured out how to clean up some of the marginal ones, there were still so many pics from this show that would have been great, if only they'd been in focus. rolling eyes emoticon (Either the guys need to stand still more, or I need a better digital camera!) And I ended up having to discard a few even of the ones that WERE in focus... poor Jimi, I seem to have this penchant for catching him at moments when he's got the strangest expressions on his face. laughing emoticon (And, alas, that's the one disadvantage of being front row-center--if you're trying to photograph the lead singer, his microphone is in the way a lot of the time. Phooey.) Still, I did get a few pretty good shots (and even some of the rest of the band this time!) so here you go--enjoy. grinning emoticon

46 K This is one of my favorite shots from that night. (Not least because it shows off the outfit he was wearing--that shirt clung to him like a second skin... ) Edited to add: And I guess Jimi himself liked it, too, because he used it for a while on his MySpace! It's disappeared from his albums now, unfortunately, but I was rather proud to see it there while it lasted, and it collected quite a few compliments in the comments--thanks everyone!)	40 K	41 K
