Okay, folks, are you all sitting down? Because these are Jimi pics like you have never seen before--or not from me, at least. I admit they may not be absolutely perfect in every respect, and I'm sure I'll continue to learn and refine my technique at future shows, but DANG. Considering that I'm a dSLR newbie AND this was my first serious shoot in the kind of challenging light conditions presented by a live concert, I seriously cannot even believe how well these pics turned out (not to mention that there were enough of them to spill over into a second gallery just for Jimi alone!). So yeah, I think I did a pretty respectable job of things, even if I do say so myself--and I am NEVER going back to point-and-shoots if I can help it, the difference good equipment makes is really like night and day!
