Free Jimi Jamison Concert at "The 16th Annual Oneida Family Carnival"
Norbert Hill Center - Oneida, Wisconsin
June 6, 2008
I unfortunately had some trouble with my camera at this show--the
performance didn't start until it was mostly dark out, and the
focusing mechanism really struggled to get a lock onto all the
brightly-lit stuff on stage when I had it at the telephoto end of the
zoom. (Guess my next investment will be a tripod; that would have
helped.) Anyway, I ended up not getting nearly as many pics as I'd
hoped to, but here are the best of what I did get... a few of them
remain a bit fuzzy, despite my attempts to clean them up, but they're
still pretty good shots for all of that, I think.
Oh, and my apologies to the guys in Jimi's band--I did try to get a
few individual shots of everyone, but none of them turned out. Maybe next time!
Oh, dear... my penchant for catching him with weird expressions on his face seems to have struck again--sorry, Jimi, I really am trying to work on that...
This is one of my favorite pics from this show... sigh...
This shot kind of typifies the whole show--he was really playing the joker that night. Which I thought was cool, actually; I don't remember him being so relaxed any of the times I saw him perform when he was still with Survivor. (And for all you ladies out there: There is tongue showing here if you look closely enough... )
Ah, now here's a good closeup where his mike stand's not in the way of his face, finally...
Oh, this is just an awesome shot... probably the best pic I took of him that night, even if I do say so myself...
He really shouldn't do stuff like this... I mean, that neck is enough to set any girl to thinking quasi-vampiric thoughts...
Wow, was I ever on a roll that night... two tongue-shots all in one show...
