Survivor Performance at the Olathe Sweet Corn Festival
Olathe, Colorado
4 August, 2012

My apologies for the poor lighting on some of these--if you haven't read my Concert Tale for this show, it was outdoors and I ended up picking the wrong side of the stage to sit on, so I was facing into the setting sun and the glare was a real problem at times. Still, I got at least a few pretty decent pics (and Jimi was certainly looking yummy as always! winking emoticon ) so it wasn't a complete loss; hope you enjoy them!

Fiddling with his monitor... he did quite a lot of that at this show, what with all the audio issues they were having

I don't get as many "weird expression" shots as I used to, now that I've got my Pentax and all, but I couldn't resist sharing this one--the look on his face here just totally cracks me up laughing emoticon

The composition wasn't exactly perfect here (that mike stand in the way of the action, etc.) but this was the only good shot I got of Walter Tolentino [keys] all evening, so I decided to include it anyway... and there is the VERY interesting way Jimi's shirt is all hiked up on one side, too. winking emoticon (I even moved my copyright tag over a bit from center so as not to obscure the detail!)
