NOTE: Copyright of these images remains with their subject and original photographer; my tag on a scan is merely to denote that I was the one who went to the time and trouble to convert a particular photo from hardcopy to digital and upload it to the web for other fans to enjoy. HOWEVER, while I don't "own" these pics in any kind of legal sense, I would still appreciate being asked or at the very least informed if you wish to reproduce them on another website (I can be contacted by email here) and a link back to C&S (see this page for code and banners) or some other form of acknowledgement would be lovely, as well. Thank you!

Nice--ah--pants, there, Jamo...

I swear, that man is just too hunky to be allowed...

This is, like, my favorite pic of Jimi ever... whew... (Talk about "too hot to sleep!"

Jimi in the mid 80's... love the striped shirt!

Shadowed!Jimi... verrrrry nice...

Okay, I don't care if this pic IS as old as I am--I will take Shirtless!Jimi any way I can get him!

And going from past to near-present, this lovely photo was published in the September 1999 issue of Burrn! magazine.
|
A detail from the rear cover of Survivor's Vital Signs album. (He doesn't look particularly thrilled about having his picture taken, does he?
|
A detail from the cover of First Strike by Cobra, the band Jimi was in immediately prior to Survivor. (And dang, I love him in V-neck shirts... they always reveal so many, ah, interesting little details...
|
|
And then the pic from the back cover of First Strike. (The V-neck, alas, now seems to be absent, but it's still a nice shot.)
|
Another relatively recent pic. (And that smile he's wearing is just something else... the lion that ate the canary...
|
Ah, lovely... Pensive!Jimi is a variation that doesn't get captured on film very often, but I like this pic of him a lot...

Jimi and Chris Adamson (who played lead guitar on the Empires album) in another great photo from Burrn! magazine.

A mid-80's photo from a South American music newspaper. (The Ebay seller I bought it from said it was Argentinian, but I'm told it could be from Chile, too, so make of that what you will.) Apologies for the quality; I've cleaned the scan up as much as I could, but the original was just too grainy to fix totally.

A lovely shot of Jimi with two of the musicians who worked with him on Empires. (I believe that's Jeff Adams, the bassist, on the left, and Chris Adamson, the lead guitarist, on the right.)

This is actually another Empires-era pic, but it makes me think of "Man Against The World"... what with the contemplative expression and the wind-ruffled hair and all...

I "borrowed" this from the cover of a live bootleg CD... had to. I mean, dear Gods--that hair!

I got this shot out of a magazine that was printed about the time Empires came out, but I think the photo itself is rather earlier... the guys with Jimi have been tentatively identified as (L to R) Jeff Adams [bass], Bill Marshall [drums], Hal Butler [keys], and Jeff Miller [guitar], all of whom I'm pretty sure he toured with during the mid to late 1990's. (Many thanks to jimmy77 from hotmail for helping out with the ID!)

A promotional photo of "Jimi Jamison's Survivor," autographed by (L to R) Hal Butler [keys], Jeff Adams [bass], Jimi, Pete Mendillo [drums], and Chris Adamson [lead guitar]. (A slightly smaller, unautographed version of this same pic is also available here.)
